St Stephens Roundabout Closure - Last updated July 29th 2010

From 18:30 on Friday 30th July 2010 to 06:00 Monday 2nd August 2010 St Stephens Roundabout will be closed to all traffic, Anglian bus services will operate as follows:-

FRIDAY 30th JULY 2010 (FROM 1830)

Service 999 18:27 from Pettus Road 18:30 Norvic Drive will operate via The Avenues and NOT VIA Newmarket Road.

Service 999 18:43 from St Stephens to Gertrude road will Operate from Topshop, Theatre Street, see below

Service 587 18:40 will operate from John Lewis, All Saints Green.

Service 588 19:35, 20:35, 21:35 and 23:25 will operate from John Lewis, All Saints Green.

SATURDAY 31st JULY 2010 (ALL DAY)

Service 587 & 588 will operate from John Lewis Bus Stop, All Saints Green

Service 123 will operate to Castle Meadow as normal, and travel via Red Lion St, Surrey Street, and operate from the Bus Stop Opposite John Lewis All Saints Green outside the News Agents

Service 125 will operate normal service to Castle Meadow then via Red Lion Street to a temporary stop on Theatre Street, Bank Plain,St Andrews and St Benedicts stops outbound will not be served.

Service 121 to Eaton will operate from Castle Meadow via Red Lion Street, Surrey Street and will depart BAY 3 bus station,the return journey to Castle Meadow will operate via All Saints Green(Opposite John Lewis) and Westlegate to Castle Meadow

Service 122 to Cringleford will operate from BAY 3 bus station on the return journey will set down on All Saints Green opposite John Lewis.

Service 124 to Norwich will operate normally to Castle Meadow then via Red Lion Street, Surrey Street and will set down BAY 3 bus station.

Service 124 to Plumsteads will operate from All Saints Green Opposite Johns Lewis near News Agents.

Service 122A will set down and pick up from BAY 3 bus station and will operate normally to Castle Meadow and the Rail Station.

Services A47,001,003 004,570 and X2 are unaffected by the closure and will operate from there normal stops.

Service 999 to Eaton will operate normally to Castle Meadow then via Red Lion Street to Theatre Street (temp stop) and on the return to Gertrude Road via Unthank Road, Cleveland Road, Bethel Street, Little Bethel Street to Theatre Street outside Topshop.
ALL JOURNEYS WILL OPERATE VIA THE AVENUES AND NOT VIA NEWMARKET ROAD.
Eaton end of the route will operate via South Park Avenue, Bluebell Road, Norvic Drive, Rugge Drive to Pettus Road.

SUNDAY 1st AUGUST 2010 (ALL DAY)

Service 121 and 588 will operate pick up and set down BAY 3 bus station.

Services 10B, 123, 587 and 718 will all operate from BAY 13 bus station.






006 Hemsby to Great Yarmouth - Last updated July 21st 2010

As from Monday 26th July 2010 this service will be changing it's name to 586 and extra runs added.


Lower Street, Salhouse - Last updated July 8th 2010

During the closure of Lower Street, Salhouse from 26th July 2010 until 3rd September 2010 Anglian Service 123 will not be able to serve the bus stops on Norwich Road, Thieves Lane nor at The Bell PH on Lower Street. Passengers are advise to use the temporary stops on Mill Road, we apologise for any inconvenience caused.


Route changes - Last updated June 7th 2010

Routes 601, 608, 520, 522, 523, and 524 are all changing from 14th June 2010. New timetables now on web site.


New timetables 124, 601 & 608 - Last updated June 7th 2010

Route 124 will take effect from Monday 7th June 2010. The 17.05 and 18.05 will change to 17.15 and 18.15 due to popular demand. Routes 601 and 608 will take effect from Monday 14th June 2010. See New timetables for details.

Fare increase 1st June 2010 - Last updated May 26th 2010

From Tuesday 1st June 2010 fare are to increase. For regular travellers - Ten trip tickets and UCan Travel tickets represent good value for money.

FREE TRAVEL for CONCESSION PASS HOLDERS - Last updated May 26th 2010

All over 60's are entitled to FREE BUS TRAVEL.

Suffolk pass holders will benefit from FREE TRAVEL at ALL TIMES, as long as the journey starts in Suffolk.

Norfolk pass holders will benefit from FREE TRAVEL after 0830 on weekdays and ALL WEEKEND, as long as the journey starts in Norfolk.


581 service - Last updated May 18th 2010

As of 17/05/2010 the 581 will no longer be servicing Aldeby bus shelter due to safety concerns and parked cars.


FUSION TICKET - Last updated May 14th 2010

The new FUSION ticket will be available from the 3rd January 2010! It's the new ticket that allows you to travel around the "FUSION" zone, all day, using more than one bus company!
You can purchase and use the FUSION ticket on most services- Anglian, First, Konectbus, Norfolk Green, Norse, Sanders and Simonds.
£5.50 Adult
£3.50 Child
£14.00 Family (2 adults, 2 children or 1 adult, 3 children)


Explore Cards - Last updated January 12th 2010

Suffolk explore cards can only be used to buy tickets when boarding the bus in Suffolk.
Passengers can buy a single or return ticket from Suffolk to Norfolk but cannot buy a single from Norfolk to Suffolk using the Explore card.
